She will be fine, heifers didn't get big as mature cows but she will growing. Good luck to figured out what breeds in the woodpile.

My guess is....3/8 red angus 1/4 hereford 1/4 dexter 1/8 black angus
Her head seems too large for her over all appearance, making her a possible carrier of the Hereford gene for dwarfism
in my mind.
Plus I have a 1/4 hereford cow with same color pattern, but in black and white, and is the reason I say 1/4 Hereford.
In smaller supposed "Black Angus cows" often there is some Dexter in "the woodpile" more so from Iowa going north,
so I assume that may be true in Canada too.

Idk about Dexters, but I seen tons of Lowline X Angus crosses than Dexter X Angus crosses here. Lowline bulls are popular as heifer bulls for larger Angus heifers. But I don't see anything that suggests the cow has Dexter or Lowline in her woodpile.
Edited: I forgot to click on the pic, she has a long hair that make her head looks bigger so she didn't looks like she's a dwarfism carrier.

I have some that look similar - charolais, simmintal, gelbvieh and red angus could be in their mix.. More so on the char and sim though in recent yrs.

She's a little too light colored for a shorthorn IMO. She looks more like our red angus sired heifers that are out of a HerfxHolxJersey. One is a short and chubby lil thing that raises NICE calves, the other is kinda leggy with decent calves. So I'm gonna go with her dam being a blackxred angus, and the sire being a herfxred angus.
