*****Okay. NEXT year, when the calves start coming, I am going to be ready to weigh them. How accurate do you think those tapes are that you put around the baby's ankle? And, what about those tapes that you put around the animal's chest?

I don't know anything at all about the hoof tapes, but the heart girth tapes seem to be pretty accurate -- the breed specific dairy tape that I use is within 5 lbs on the calves that I've taped and then scaled.
