warm season natural grasses (midsouth area)

I have an oppurtunity to cut and bale what my neighbor refers to as warm season natural grass, I think broom sedge(sp) and some type of mimosa and I don't know what all. Is anyone familiar with what all this is and is it good cow hay? It's thick I do know that.

If it's broomsedge, while it's growing it has abut the nutritional value of air. It's a filler and has scratch but that's about all it has
