valmet,valtra tractors

Just wondering can anyone tell me about valmet ,valtra tractors.Are they good tractors on the farm,I heard that parts are really expensive.Thanks Dean 8)

they might be good tractors but if i was gettiong one i would make sure that there was a dealer right near my farm

I live 30 km from valtra tractorfactory. Its here in central Finland. We have 50 years history with Valtra and Valmet tractors. First Valmet my greatgrandpa bought was based on a cannon pipe(just after II Worldwar). Now we have Valtra 6550 high tech - model and Valmet 865. About 100 hp.

Valtra Tractors are very popular here in Finland and Sweden. Valtra is known for its high quality. I dont know what models Agco brings to your areas. Propably the biggest models what we see only on passing trains to harbours....
I really like Under 100hp A models. They are very handy in bale handling and other work with cattle.
