used semen tank

I am looking for a good used semen tank, having a hard time justifying the $450 550 price for a small tank.
Only going to be doing 20-30 a yr so not like i need a big unit!

You can get tanks that are used once by the major studs, sent out west loaded with semen and then returned. They're certified just like they're new but the price is less. If you can;t get one of those spend the money for a new tank.

Also, AI reps (Genex, ABS, etc) generally get a few used tanks - they test them out to make sure they are holding good & will sell them. That's where I got my last tank - used.

Used tanks MAY be fine but I wouldn't put even 10 straws in one. If it fails you are out. Get a new one and better your odds of not having it fail. Semen isn't cheap and it's even more expensive when you never get it into a cow.

I dont know where your from i know a guy in middle TN has one he just sold out I bought all his semen so he said he would sell it. its a mve 20/20 I know for a fact it holds like it should 3 1/2 yrs old I already have 2 so I dont need it hes asking $350 let me know if you need his #.
