Her udder is going in the right direction. I will not insert a cannula again to provide relief from heavy milk production.

Was she producing more milk then the calf could use? We had a later cow calve, and i was really worried the calf wasnt sucking as her udder was huge. He was, but she was just producing way more milk then the calf could use. Now, a month later the calf is consuming enough to keep it down, and growing like a weed. I read a interesting article this past winter about how we are getting some beef to milk to much believe it or not. I cant remember what magazine it was, but it got me thinking...
As a side note, what kind of rock are they standing on, it looks so neat, like a picture in a ai bull magazine!!

Since she is such a problem and has such a junk calf just take her on down to Paris stockyard next week and send her with the auctioneer to me.
