Does anybody here know where current trucking rates are at per loaded mile for livestock? Thanks for any help.

2.50 to 3$ a mile for a 32ft gooseneck or something comparable. About 3.50 on up to 4$ for pots, depends on who it is, I get alot of different prices from different people.

Mr. Harroun priced hauling four steers from western Illinois to Massachusetts, about 1000 miles, for $1200.

I am sure they would be added to a larger load to justify the trip.

1 ton pickup and gooseneck I believe.

I called Lathrop Trucking about hauling 25 short bred heifers from New York to Missouri---1250 miles----4 dollars per mile
Around here, a 32 foot gooseneck charge 180 to haul 65 miles, where I sell cattle. Don't know what they charge on other distances

I'm getting trucks right now for $3.70-$4 heading West and $3.35-$3.75 heading East. I don't know about goosenecks.
