Trailer care

Help Support CattleToday:

Mine has a wood floor with mats screwed down with SS screws and they ain't coming out so I just pressure wash it at least once a year and spray the bottom foot with bed liner. It sure stopped the rust.

With cattle, not so easy. When cattle are loose they make a mess everywhere, all over the walls even. My show cattle get tied up, limiting the mess. But as others have said, you are better off hosing it out with each use.

So right. It always amazes me how calves can sling crap on the trailer wall 4 feet above their heads. We hose down walls and floor after every trip.
