Growing up, we had a neighbor that used a team of mules. I was allowed to plow with them on a couple of occasions. This guy never owned a tractor, he cut and raked hay with that team of mules too.

Those BCS tractors ain't cheap!

My Dad had 4 teams of miniature mules (under 50 inches) He showed at several fairs around, local fair, Ozark Empire Fair, Missouri State Fair, went to DuQuoin State Fair and SE Missouri Fair and a few others occasionally. Won lots of trophies too!

He also plowed ground with them, had a 5 ft sickle bar mower (mowed hay), had a stud cart that he could pull the hay rake with and had a New Holland square baler with a Wisconsin motor on it.
