Katherine, one or more fire-impacted 4-H'ers in Okanogan County will be very happy when your box of tack reaches the Extension Office up there. Thank you so much! And I know the shipping wasn't inexpensive.
I'm going up to fire country Saturday, with the tack donations (and other donations) from here. Hay donated from MT is on it's way to Twisp. For some reason known only to God and the Feds, the designated EOC collection point for feed was dropped in the last 24 hrs., and local sheriff's dept. managing it removed. So, no designated EOC drop off/collection/distribution site, inventory control, secure storage, or distribution records, which means data the feds require in funding feed needs of local ranchers in the future is kaput -- at present. Trying to figure out what "Plan B" will be . . . . .
