I watched some of the Three Trees Angus Sale on Saturday. I was surprised at the price. Top bulls were only $4800 each. Average price was about $2500. I thought a lot of the bulls looked pretty good.

If they averaged $2500 that is a big improvement over last year at that sale when they avg $1800-2000, especially considering the bull market has softened up somewhat.

The Quality of the bulls will probably be better at the Georgia bull sale.

We've been to a couple of bull sales this spring and had reports on several others. Prices seem to be off quite a bit around here. There just wasn't much hay made last year and a lot of people either downsized their herd or sold out entirely. That will probably reduce the demand (and price) for bulls.

Any idea what the Bandolier X Traveler 1148 (Full sister to Lucy's Boy) heifer sold for?
Thanks,
