Have had them on feed since March, building up to full feed, and as much as they would eat from July till now.
The steers were purchased. At the time the Hereford was a bull and weighed 550 and the black and white steer weighed 625.
The BWF heifer is a 30 month old home raised heifer that never did get bred.

Well, if you did sell to the public, I bet you'd have a list of regulars every year. What do you feed then out with?
I start them out on a 3 way mix of Cracked corn, soy hulls, and corn gluten, then as time progresses I start mixing it with shelled corn, and the last 3 months or so mostly shelled corn with just enough of the other mix for them to eat it good.
 
@Travlr I'd like to see that comparison too.
@Jeanne - Simme Valley I'm guessing you're right on the heifer marbling the best. She was definitely carrying more finish.
Our's seem to marble well, and the other two are purchased calves so not sure of exact genetics of the two steers.
I'm thinking that the Hereford steer should marble good as in the past all of our Hereford steers have done well.
