The Wives' Cars

Help Support CattleToday:

My truck is the farm/family/commuting/church/everything else vehicle. I would like to get a little something for commuting that gets better gas mileage but I can't afford another car/insurance payment.

Wifes car is a 2003 Trail Blazer, I drive a 92 ford 4x4, With the higher cost of gas I bought a Chev. Aveo. Its a ugly little sucker. I drive 60 miles per day to my day job. Truck gets 15 mpg, car gets 34. I reconed at $11,000 new it would pay for itself and keep the miles off of my truck. It a hatchback with the rear seats folded up I still can get a few supplies in there. Just don't try to cross a muddy pasture with it. It don't sit as bad as some of the other compacts, but it is ugly. Heck I don't care, expecially while passing the pumps.

Farm truck is a 1991 F-150 with ~200,000 miles on it, I don't like to talk about the gas milage on it.

Better half has a 2000 Taurus with ~90,000 miles on it, it gets about 28 MPG on the highway, which is where she keeps it most of the time.

I drive a 2001 Ranger back & forth to work, it has ~65,000 miles on it, 27 MPG on the highway.

;-)

My old girl drives a Dodge Ram 1500, quad cab, long box, 4X4.

At 5 foot 1 - it was funny to watch her hike up a skirt to climb in behind the wheel. Thats why I had to put running boards on it.

Even after 26 years she has mighty fine legs!

Bez

Golly, Bez, a 26 YO ought to have pretty good legs! (you dirty old man)

Maybe he meant they have been married 26 years. Some of the best lookin ladies are in their 40 's and 50's. That is when i realized I was gettin old when The Golden Girls started lookin good
