Just got home from Brissie after going to see Brooks & Dunn last night....best concert ever!
 
Yeah my boyfriend's sis and bro are up at the B&D concert tonight- I'm so jealous!! Can't believe they won't come to Adelaide (actually, I can. Everyone skips Adelaide!!.... Except Keith :heart: At least he thought of us!!)
I'm trying to get bulls ready for our sale this week, finding it really hard to get motivated tho. Luckily (sort of :| ) we're down from 10 to 6, so it's gonna be pretty cruisy. I'm thinking I should probably try get a few clipped tomorrow, but meh... clipping's overrated!! I'm just happy most have got pretty fine, sleek hair, so don't need to fuss too much.

I need to get a job, although no one seems to want to give me one...I'm now completely broke, spent the money I had on Friday night.
 
The Naracoorte Shorthorn Show and Sale (it's the next biggest in Oz to Dubbo). Honestly I'm just so over bulls at the moment, and our team just seem to be dropping like flies!! I can't wait til it's all over!

Yep that's the one. I'm glad to be stepping out from behind the mike this year!! A friend of mine is associate this year, he's so nervous, it's quite cute actually!!

So what sort of job you looking for Bek? And whereabouts?
 
Anything really.
I was looking for work as a farm hand or stud hand, but everyone's going broke around here.
Pretty much anything within in an hour from where I am(Murgon, in the South Burnett Region of QLD, near a town called Kingaroy)

I'm thinking about putting in applications at a few of the shops now, I don't want to do it, but I'm running out of choices.

I remember when I was associate at the QLD Dexter Show a few years ago, I was so nervous,I was only 14 at the time, I just about sh!t myself to put it nicely :lol:
 
Have you considered going to work on a station? That's what I did when I finished school. Best experience of my life, I think everyone should do it.
 
I've still got to finish school,so I can't do that as yet, definitely consider it next year if I haven't got another job though.

But, the whole experience I've been having up at Charters Towers, I just haven't liked. I'm not sure why, don't know if I get homesick, or whether it's the people, just don't like it full stop

I've still got one block to go til I finish, I was supposed to finish last week, but all the floods put and end to that
