The heifer that aborted on the 1st is in standing heat this morning. That's dam soon even for a "foaling heat". Beginning to think she is what my old mentor used to refer to as a functional freemartin. Everything is in place and she can conceive, just doesn;t have enough hormones to carry a pregnancy to term. Almost would like to do a blood test and see if she is a freemartin
