In a contested election the electoral college doesn't decide its kicked back down to the states.

The electoral college vote on Dec. 14 remains the most important date of the presidential election process, as prescribed by the Constitution. As constitutional law expert Alan Dershowitz noted earlier on Newsmax TV's "Saturday Report," an election still contested on that date might ultimately hand the election over to the House state delegations – a majority held by Republicans 26-23-1.
That would explode a lot of talking heads. I wouldn't begin to speculation on how that would play in the market.

Biden will be the next President. Trump is nothing but a whiny bitch of a man. Hillary took defeat like a person should. The same states that put Trump in took him out. He was setting the stage to discredit the election before the election when he was stating about mail in ballots being used in a way that would be illegal. Kudos to the states that made it safe for people to vote by absentee and mail in ballots. Every person should have the right to vote and it looks like a fair amount of them did.

I am no constitutional law expert, but Dershowitz is and of the opposition party.
For him to make such a statement is reason for pause.
Have to go back to 1876 after reconstruction when a party was fighting against the 14th and 15th amendment to get a contested election.
I would think anything to do with investment or manufacturing in China will tank or skyrocket if this prediction comes to fruition. I have no clue where to hedge your investments here.
We have no control on the outcome of current political events.

Yep, I there are too many people that drink the Trump kool-aid that won't believe the election was fair until everything has been investigated. Don't want the next President treated the same way Trump was treated. I voted for President Trump but he was such an unlikeable person, I really don't mind that he lost. Most of the conservatives warned about the end of the American way of life if Obama was elected too. As long as Georgia comes through for us, we will be fine.

Most Americans vote straight party ticket. The R's gain in the house break even plus or minus one in the Senate and loose the WH.

I have been voting awhile the first presidential race I worked in a campaign Nixon/Humphery.

As Americans we should want to know with absolute certainty the winner.
As it is now we are circling the drain and there is no plug, we will never reunite.

If people want to yell rigged, let them provide proof. There is none, as evidenced by Trump's 20 some odd lawsuits that have all been withdrawn or dismissed without providing one shred of evidence. The grand conspiracy had to cover many states that have Republican legislatures and governors. The Republican party is dead. It is now the Cult of Trump, and it will continue to be so.

Trump lost in a landslide, those were his own words when he got 306 electoral votes in 2016! Please respect our democracy and the will of the people.

There is not going to be any socialism. You may have a Bernie and AOC, but the majority of Democrats are moderates. Just like the Republicans, given the chance, they are willing moderates. Biden has already said he is not for Medicare for all. That is just another propaganda phrase put out by the Extreme Right.
