Stock market voted today.

The Dow is up 281 points right now. I guess the market gets to vote everyday.

Previous S&P 500 close was 2139.56. Current index is 2,146.10 A price increase of 6.50.

The market carries zero electoral votes.

But it does have a loud voice....the Dow 30 began to strengthen as the election neared and Trump gained momentum. As election coverage started coming in and it appeared he might not win is when the Dow futures began to tank. At about 11pm central when he began to take blue states he wasn't supposed to take is when the Dow started to move back up.
In my opinion the market spoke loudly......even the foreign markets heard it.

Dow closes at record high today, as it surges 5% for the week, best in 5 years.
