Well looks like me and the stock market was wrong on who the winner might be. Will the change be good or bad will have to wait and see. Reports that the world financial markets are in free fall now and the market will be down here by 1000 points or more. Calf prices next week will be around 50 cents a lb. have not seen anything to that affect on that but it could happen. A lot of folks rejoice that the stock market will go down but do not realize that most of the future pensions they might be contributing to is affected by that. Could we lose half of our assets between now and the first of the year? The market runs a lot on fear and hope. We will just have to wait and see.

I think I remember them saying 5% is the limit. Looks like the market has turned around some though. I suspect the thing that took the biggest hit from all this would be the cost of one of Bill Clinton's speeches. Typically these were going for $750,000 for a 30 minute talk. Now, I imagine he might give a speech for room and board if the maid was young and pretty.

That's if he was lucky. I think the price of his future speaking fees will be very telling. Now he doesn't have any worries about conflict of interests so he can do all the talking he wants. Not that ethics ever bothered him before.
