Heres how I see it. If one buys beef labled CAB and has a bad experience they will be less likely ot buy it the next time. The same as with any "Branded" beef product. This is the same argument we had less than two months ago. If you don't like it and think its fraud why don't you get off of your duff and file suit. Seems the only thing you can do is bicker on these boards.

I am not selling fraudulant beef or associated with a breed that is. I don't care that CAB is decieving the public. If I was an Angus producer I would and I would be raising cain about the counterfiets sold as Angus. My cattle won't qualify for CAB thank goodness as they ae not black. At least I am not lieing to the American consumer its deceitful trade practices at best.

Ah Scotty I think Angus is a good breed of cattle and the Angus breeders have done wonders in the last few years and stayed the course in improving their breed. As far as the black goes they are joke breeds IMO trying to ride your back like a Monkey. On CAB we will disagree. As I have stated before poor mangers coving up poor management with black.

Well it isn't like this is (CAB) an absolutely unique idea that the AAA created. I remember probably 15+ years ago the beef to buy at the grocery store was Limousin. It was what the stores advertised as the premium cuts and what everyone "had" to have. Where is that program now?

Now stores have its own version:
Safeway - Rancher's Reserve 100% Angus Beef
Albertson's - Steakhouse Choice Angus Beef
Now whether these are connected with the CAB program or just certified Angus beef, I didn't research - I'd actually have to SHOP, yuck.

Rosauer's advertises USDA Source Certified but puts no breed guarantees - at least nothing in their ads.
