Well my 20 year old Krone is still cutting it. When I sold it in 2011 to a commercial baler. Krone balers suck but they do make a good cutter.

Yep, forgot about Krone. One of the best, if not the best disc cutter sold in Texas. People still cuss that bahia around here though. Do you have to slow down at all with the Krone?

No one of the few that will cut Bahia without getting the hiccups.
My Krone was chain driven no belts .

Not sure. Nuclear waste might work :lol: . Not knocking the grass itself. It's just hard to cut with a run of the mill disc cutter. Krone is an excellent cutter but they cost a pretty penny.

I have cut a lot of Bahia with a 9 foot model 1300 international sickle mower. Set it to leave about a three inch stubble. Keep the knife sharp and it will work well.
