Silage Bailer

Help Support CattleToday:

Vermeer 604 Pro. Has been mostly trouble free. Most of our issues are from rocky ground. It will eat as much wet hay as you can feed it, if you got the horsepower.

We have done about 500 bales a year of alfalfa silage in the past and started doing some green graze as well this year, along with 3-400 grass bales. All done with an inline wrapper and fed through a vertical mixer.

New Holland BR7070 Crop Cutter has 33xx some bales trouble free. The heavy rotor feeder takes some power but I've yet to find anything it wont gobble up.

I have a 505M Vermeer that has Silage baler on the side. I think the difference between it and a regular baler is very little, but it has 15252 bales on the ticker as of yesterday. It will take hay and turn out a round shape 99.9% of the time without any trouble.
