I don't see where it says how long I should keep the cows out after I spray. It says don't send people out there for 12 hours. A week should work, I'll research a bit more before I let them back. I got some mustard hedge in some hay bales and it's giving me fits, things are just starting to grow finally. Says 7 days for dairy, I'll go with a week.

Better follow the label but i have sprayed in the same field they are grazing. The dairy is because of possible milk restrictions.

I agree with Kenny, I think it is a 7-day restriction on dairy and 3 days for animals going to slaughter. But I would go with the directions.

Exactly, the instructions are a bit moldy. That's while I'll follow dairy recommendations it should be safe for unbred heifer and 3 steer

I don't believe there are any grazing restrictions for grazing beef animals after 2,4D. But if you know the brand of the herbicide, you can find the label online. If it's straight 2,4D, you should be fine.

I just didn't see where it said when beef could graze again. Nobody is going to Slaughter, calve or give milk.

Same here. We try and keep the horses off the pasture for a week or better after spraying, and preferably a good rain prior to return to pasture.

Some people have a fairly severe reaction from exposure to 2,4-D, so the same could be true of other animals. Better to be safe than sorry.

2-4D doesn't have grazing restrictions for beef .
