Regenerative Ranching Workshop 2
Our next workshop is set for Saturday 17 February.
We have Bret Peshek coming back again to speak. Bret is an excellent educator, and more importantly, a practitioner of regenerative principles. Using cover crops and livestock, including cattle, sheep, hogs goats and chickens, he has improved his soil quality, which has improved his crop and grass quality, to improve nutrient quality of all food produced on his place. He lives only a couple of hours up the road from Bowie, so is also operating in "wonderfully" erratic climate.
During our last workshop, Bret gave an excellent overview of what is possible for both a commercial and homestead perspective. He plans to get into the nuts and bolts of implementation this time around.
Bret is also a seed and stock product supplier. He can set you up with sea90 salt, apple cider vinegar, sodium bicarbonate etc for which are beneficial to keep your stock healthy . He has said he can bring supplies with him to eliminate transport costs for those who would like to purchase from him.
