Is there a book or information to purchase to help a person get their calf started as far as haltering, leading, etc. to get ready for show? This is for someone who has never shown before and is just starting out.

Try your 4-H associations or most breed associations or just ask any local breeders. If you can't find anything let me know and I'll see what I can dig up in my 4-H books. good luck!

look for videos as well as books. videos are often more helpful as you can see a demonstration rather than imagine it or look at pictures.there are lots of videos out there
