I bought a stear gonna pick it up saturday . He's 9 months old 600 pounds needs a good wormin. He seems to be an easy keeper , any input on the breed will be helpfull thanks. :cboy:

how can you tell ??
 
First , it's shorthorn, one word! They are usually docil and fairly calm. Yours sounds too light at that age, should be heavier so worming and groceries good idea. Unless you got lucky they can be lacking in the hind end but still butcher well if fed good. Have fun! :roll: We enjoy them!

that's what he meant by easy keeper??
 
or easy keeper d/t not being fed much equals low weight? Who knows?
 
He's settled down eatin grass and drinkin water'turns his nose up at grain , he'll get over that gonna put the pounds on him on his terms for now :tiphat:
