Shipping Fever

Hi All,

Just wanted to know what you all use to help prevent shipping fever?
I'm having a 8 month old bull shipped from Michigan to Texas in a few weeks.

Make sure you have him vaccinated for Texas diseases. When we hauled our cows from Illinois to Texas, our vet called the TDA and found out what they needed.. there were different requirements.

Besides vaccination, I would consider a routine blast of Nuflor when he arrives. I'm not a fan of indescriminate use of antibiotics, but this is the one instance that we make an exception.
