Hi All,
As I have posted elsewhere, I use a lot of fruit and veg, some bakery, and various hays, as well as some pasture.
The fruit in warm weather goes off very quick, I am wondering if it is worth making some silage ? With say apple and wheaten hay in layers ?
I can use some plastic containers that will hold about a US ton, or half tonne AU, could layer apple, or fruit and veg, 4 inch, then, layer with hay, say wheaten, or other, or a chaff mix, 4inch at a time, and then cover and sit aside for a month....
Obviously, what I do not want to do is poison or give off feed, whats do you think ?
