Scour Guard vs. Calf Guard ?

We do scour guard but finding that some of the cows get some pretty large massive lumps from it - anyone else experience this? We had one cow get such a high fever that I didn't give her booster. The vets thought she may abort the first time because of the fever being high (thank god she didn't) but didn't want to take the chance with the booster. May have to try the calf guard...

I use Calf Guard (Zoetis/Pfizer). A MLV mix. No probelms and I do vaccinate the cow versus the calf so the primary immunity is two shots 30 days apart. Still have not had a reaction even with the MLV.
