scouring calf

got a week old calf scouring ..comes out yellowish white...have given her 1 round of gentimicin...she acts like she feels good running and jumping.was wondering if cow was giving too much milk.?..any help is appreciated....happy new year to all.

Heavy milk will give them a white fairly loose stool. Keep an eye on her. They can go down hill quickly. Does her manure seem better now that you treated?

A week old and yellowish white is generally Rotavirus or too much milk. Still running around & jumping is a good sign but agree, definitely keep an eye on her. If she looks sunken, dehydrated, or starts to look punky, I'd drench her with electrolytes asap.

Give her a 'shot' of kaopectade or pepto bismol, whatever you have. And keep a close eye on her as the others said. As long as she is jumping around I wouldnt worry too much.
