Scarey Call

Everything turned out fine but got a call this morning from the school that the school bus with my daughter on it had been struck by another vehicle.
Turns out we know the driver of the car and their parents.
Our son had been dropped off at the high school already but when he heard about the wreck he left the school and went see what was happening. Only the car driver needed medical help.
The bus driver got the ticket which we think is crap because the bus had already been in the uncontrolled intersection when this other driver hit the bus. I've seen the car driver blasting down the roads in town. Son thinks the driver was texting because they had been seen doing it before.
Bus driver is going to fight it.

Daughter said it just left like they hit a speed bump.

The cars driver was taken to the hospital. Son said they were not in school yesterday and he heard they might have broken their leg again and injuried their neck. Not a good thing especially since the ski trip for the high school kids is this week.
