Sale time?

Debating whether to take two loads in morning to local auction yard or wait . Being memorial day wkend I thought maybe a good week to sale ? Any thoughts -- I've noticed prices fluctuate a little week to week around here and looking for top $ . They are mostly steers and a few heifers around 600lbs

really anytime is a good time to sell if the calves are ready to sell.

Generally I don't take two loads to a single sale in a week. I spread them out.

Seen times that I wish I would have taken three loads. Other times there are not the buyers there for some reason or another and prices are off. That's not the week you want all your eggs in one basket.

Generally I sale a few each month but I calve year round.

the truth is its how bad buyers need the calves if prices back off or go up.take killer cows and bulls theres not enough to go around no matter what.so their prices are always high right now.had a friend ship 8 open cows in 1 load last week.and he said it was a great time to cull your cow herd.
