Safeguard paste how to dispense?

Looking at vet supply catalogs and see the 290 gm tube of Safeguard paste. Notice they also sell a dispensing gun. Is the gun the same thing as a caulking gun? If my memory serves me right, the tube of wormer is the size and looks just like a tube of caulk. Haven't bought wormer yet. Have a caulking gun. Don't really want to buy something we don't need.

Bought one last week. It is different than a caulking gun. I think it was about $16 at local coop. I am sure you can get it cheaper at Jeffers.

Might do some checking. Safegard from time to time throws in the gun with the Wormer.
