Someone here did call me a name that does describe me, multitasker.. Cut hay after i checked on cows, had to mow inlaws acre yard, came in to make all of us lunch. Had to upload this picture from the pasture from he!! while getting lunch ready, washing dishes because i was out early, watch around 20 minutes of Y&R, feed the calf, and scan the garden for things to pick oh, and check my computer for interesting things....., back out to cut hay 10 hours on this garbage....custom cutting this place, not our hay or field...Got on my lawn mower at 11am, all done by 12:45..... I agree with TT: yawn. I agree with TB, there is absolutely no substance here at all.

Bigfoot, what you are doing is patronizing her. You were right to call foul on my thread regarding the neighbor subject. I respect your perspective on that. But patronizing her is perhaps the biggest insult anyone has paid her. Unless, I am out of my head, there is absolutely no way you have a sincere interest in that hay!!! I cannot see a subject issue. Is it about bouncing in a tractor?Is it about mowing poor quality hay? I am sincere. I would like to know the point of the OP. I concede we all post pointless mindless chatter but you are going too far with phony interest.

This 40 acre field is mixed grasses, ok cow hay. It made 2 bales to the acre, at 2200 pounds per acre. We baled around 150 acres for this guy. One smaller pasture made 4 bales to the acre. This isnt our hay, and we dont have to move it, yay.
Baled up a 80 acre place today that i finished cutting yesterday that the grass was given to us, made around 300 bales of really good hay. City person bought the place and is tired of how weedy it looks..lol....we were happy to help him out.
I'm on a 100 acre hay field now with what people call around here Prairie grass, its native to our area and its hard to find a field like this one. It makes beautiful hay and is soso cow hay. On an easy winter they do fine on it, if the winter gets colder than average we throw out some protein tubs...
Got another field to cut on contract...and then we have the field around our house and it starts all over.

This field was not rough with pig ruts, it had been plowed years ago and had a washboard pattern over the whole field..Whoever plowed it didnt go straight, so one tire would roll over and the other a bit behind..I cant watch the video because it makes me sea sick..lol
I watched a guy in a big fancy tractor plow a field next to this one. It was a field about the same size, took him an hour. lol.. He had a track tractor, where each wheel should be was a track. Looked very smooth, probably had a TV and bathroom....

Naw, I really wanted to know what that stuff was. It looked as thin as an orphan colt standing, but pretty thick when it was laid down.

The rough hay field because of plowing crooked is hard to believe, I don't care how crooked ya plow that is what field cultivators are for. Also you sound a bit like that 4ctophat guy, plowing a 40 in an hour is very very hard to believe.

Maybe he only had a 1 bottom plow on his quad track.

Wished i got a picture of his rig...This farming outfit farms thousands of acres, like 10,000...He has the biggest of everything you can buy and several of each. He could barely turn around in that field..lol I'm not up on my tractor stuff, but the tractor was red, had 4 tracks not tires and bent in the middle and the plow matched

Made 81 rolls, it was thick enough to make it worth rolling for the customer. We get a base price per acre and if we roll more the price goes up. So, we'll roll up whatever junk people want us to as long as we get paid...This hay wasnt that bad, it'd be better than a poke in the eye if hay gets scarce..

This is actually a very nice tractor. Its the best of our 4, has a air ride seat. The others hurt my back so if i work, i get this tractor. Has a very cold AC too and is quiet enough to hear the radio, which i love turning up really loud. Probably the main reason i have ringing in my ears..lol

I have the same issue. I am sure you know it is tinnitus. I got mine from shooting before I was 30. I am nearly deaf based on the definition the government uses. I was required to take an annual physical and every year for the last 5 years of service, I barely missed the criteria for being classified as deaf. I have tried trials with hearing aids but they don't work well for me. It magnifies the background noise. I play my stero in my tractor so loud it would drive most people out of the cab.

With a 16 bottom plow he had to be plowing at a minimum of 14 mph. Sounds scetchy to me.
