Got stranded on I10 once from one of those small ratchet straps, sucked it up around the driveline and cut the main power wire to the computer .

I've seen my grandad back a trailer down the shoulder to pick up a semi strap bc it had both hooks. He prolly has hundreds of them, he lives in the main road in county lots of semi traffic

Have found wrenches, straps, hubcaps, even found a wallet once. Had $170 IIRC. Must have belonged to a kid cause nothing but the money was in the wallet. No ID or card or anything.

Found a very nice heavy duty pipe cutting tool this week. I know someone is sick because its almost brand new.

Someone lost 16' fiberglass extension ladder slid on 95 where no median to pull off and rush hour so figured I would wait till traffic died down I did drove 25 mins back someone braved the traffic and got it
