Howdy,
I am interested in what a rent-a-bull contract will have in it. I have a neighbor who wants to rent a bull. I know his herd health because I showed and worked his heifers (12) and gave all vacinations. He is across the street. I have scene where some stipulate the cost of the bull, feed and upkeep, vet call, I know I would be called first anyway...
I don't mind renting here this time. It will give me a chance to move one of my bulls to a spring calving breeder sale. I usually sell out in December of my yearling bulls.
So, anyone have contract tips?
