Kittitas Valley timothy growers are probably really, really grumpy tonight. It hasn't been raining hard, but it's been coming down pretty steady this afternoon, and there's timothy down every-other field. A couple of guys nearby figure they've already lost $200/acre for export market.

Welcome to the club. That's what we pt up most of last month and all of this one so far.

We had about a 2 week window, that got up most of 1st cut alfalfa and orchard. That's what we were locked into and in the hay barn. Timothy is a waste on cattle.
