We wound up with 1.5" from Dennis. Wish we had gotten the 4-6 they were predicting. I know, I know, I'd bi**h if they hung me with a new rope. How did the rest of you folks in the Missouri Arkansas Illinois desert fare?

I live in Southwest missouri and its the driest I have seen in a while. We were predicted to get a couple of inches from Dennis, but it never made it that far. Didnt even get a sprinkle. We are praying for it to dew at nights now, how crazy is that. We have gotten maybe two inches over the whole summer. I guess we arent as bad as some, we havent fed hay yet. Good luck to the rest of you, if you get some rain send it my way.

Plenty of rain in N.E. Georgia. Pastures are growing faster then the cows can eat the grass. Weve had good rains the last 3 yrs. With more tropical storms coming in it'll send some rain to the rest of you folks.

It rained for awhile here in New England, now it is very dry again, every day they mention a chance of a Thunder Storm, but we hear no rumbling or see no rain.
Pastures ar drying up. Send some of that Georgia rain here please.

Another wave of storms moved through yesterday afternoon and evening. Some folks have reported up to 4".

yee hii...I see what ya mean. Got an inch here last night. First rain since April. Doesn't it just make you want to run through the pasture kicking up your heals with the calves! ;-)

It was supposed to rain all day today, we got about 1/100,000 of an inch. Thats the weather channel for you.

We had 4 rain events this evening, each one lasted between 5-10 minutes. Total .77 inches. Cows ran and hid when it started, hadn;t seen it in so long they didn;t know what it was
