I like baldies/brockles that don't have more than 1/4 herf influence, mostly because of the udders
The fellow I run my cows with has a couple really nice baldy cows, one had a red calf and one had a black calf, both heifers and both from my bull.. they look like they'll make amazing cows
This isn't the best pic, but this is the red girl.. she's got nice depth and length, nice straight, wide back. I'd take a herd of cows like her

Finally they come for some sweet treats....
Steer here. He's growing really well.
The brockle face heifer is a little shorter. And real heck to get a good picture of.
The solid red one is really the star of the group I think.
And picture from high atop the 3 ton self feeder!
That lil black heifer from my one n done project cow is coming along too. Shes very shy. Don't really want to come in the pen with that horned steer. Hes a real A-ho. Be glad when he's in my freezer
O! And number 2 baldy cow didn't come up for feed today. Had to go and find her in the jungle. Took quite a while and no pictures. But it's another solid black calf. Funny. She was called the shortest bred of the 5 recent purchases. Number 4 is getting close and they called her heavier bred. Go figure. Number 2 and number 1 will be the last two to calve from the group.

No. The lil black heifer will be a bill payer. She's doing well, but I had to wean her early. Her mother was limping pretty hard and I wasn't gonna dump any more money into her. The cow wasn't a great cow by any means.
I wouldn't mind having all reds/red baldy cows.

Wasn't expecting Number 2 to calve next but she did it. Another black heifer calf. Not as big as the number 3 heifer but still a dandy!
No white it's face either. Just a dab on her belly.
Mama was not impressed with my shenanigans!
Number 4 should be next......

Number 4 done ran off and left her calf to go eat. I stumbled upon her. Never thought I'd a found her in the jungle over there. I had my bag and made a tag. Jumped the fence and got her tagged. This one has some white on her face and her belly.
More pics later. I done pizzed her off and she went a high tailing it off to find a big cow to tell all about it.
Bander and tagger in hands and couldn't drop em long enough to get good pics. Dern it!
