Does anyone here have much experience with orange peel pellets? What's the nutritional make-up of this feed by-product? What does it cost this winter? How do you feed it?

Thanks in advance,

i work at a processing plant in florida.
protien is typically around 8%. it varies to how much suger is put back in...molasses actually.
if you buy pellets youll get more protien than buying bulk peel even dried peel as it wont have the molasses returned.
initially its squeezed, dried, steam and molasses mixed back in so it can be pelletized. as pelletizing varies in consistansy also. variable due to moisture content and pellet shape.

what else ya need to know. typically its sold by the ton here in the plant to dairys and cargill and to various shippers who export the majority of it overseas..
around 100$ ton give or take depending on ????? who knows
