im looking for some information on a Jersey heifer ive got. She is 7 years old (never been bred, is a freemartin). her diet currently consists of Oat Hay (1/2 flake, 3 times daily) she recently was switched over from bermuda grass hay per the vet as she is fat. She is also INCREDIBLY bloated and i think the oat is just making it worse. Her stool is firm and is in the shape of her colon. She has never had a traditional "cow pie." any info would be greatly appreciated. i really want to get her on a healthy track! she is UTD on all worming, vaccines and probiotics.
