I have one just like it and love it. The vet bse'd the bulls in it (my old bull is 1800 maybe?, but long.)

My Grandpa had a powder river head catch only. It was way better than the wooden head catch boards him and his brother had built back in the day, but barely.

x2. You should be able to find it a bit cheaper. Orscheln's in my area carries them.

That's what we replaced some 5-6 years ago. Great chute and headgate. The sliding rear gate is a PITA, have to keep greasing it up every few head. Hopefully they've improved it since then. Ours is a S04 and has the scissor type rear gate. Like it much better, heavier built too.

What's the real world cost on a chute just like that? Same or at least VERY similar condition. Chute only.

Try McCoys. I believe they have some stores in Arkansas. Their price varies from store to store because of freight differences. Ask for their ag specialist to give you a quote. It is usually 10% cheaper than what the stores will list them at. In my area they are $2700.
I would save my money and buy a SO4
