i am working preconditioning some 200lbs calves. does anyone have a feed ration that they would recommend. i was considering using a 50% soyhull pellets, 25% corn, and 25% corn gluten.
PM Texasbred. I'm no feeding expert by a long stretch but I'd think those calves at that size would need a 18-20% CRude Protein/3-4% Fat feed. Not sure what the analysis on your mix would be without calculating it, but I think yours would run around 13% CP.
