My sisters family has been rung through the mill this past year ( actually 4 years) and it seems to still be piling on .
I ask please for all of you kind and compassionate folks here on CT to send good wishes and for those of you whom believe, prayers for my 18 year old niece, Megan . She was brought into emergency on Thursday , released due to stupidity of the hospital and rushed back to emergency again last night during her grad ceremonies . She was in so much pain from the swelling in her leg that she was unable to walk.
After numerous tests during the night she has been diagnosed with severe blood clots , a large mass in her hip, her pelvic area and now there is a large clot in her lung caused by Hypercoagulation.
This is very serious and life threatening , she is very lucky that the clot in her lung has not ended her life . They are still consulting with specialists as to which would be the best procedure to go with her on eliminating the clots because if the break free and move it could be fatal . She will most likely be moved to another hospital in 2 of our largest cities in the province that have specialists and experts on their staff and have dealt with these cases before .
Thank you all so very much !
Here is what her leg looked like because of the clot in her leg and the hospital still released her saying they did not know what was cause the swelling. Thank God a Dr. on staff last night was competent enough to know that this young lady has something very serious going on and went through all the steps to find out what it was .
