Suggestions needed

I am in the process of cleaning up an old Enterprise sausage press. My plan is to use it to make some summer sausage. It is pretty rusty inside and out, and I was going to soak it in some Evapo-Rust remover. Because a five gallon buck is tapered it will not fit. I need to find some sort of bucket that is at least 12 inches at the bottom. Any Ideas as to what I could use. I could use an old lick tub, but those are so big. I would take a lot liquid to fill one up, and that rust remover is not all that cheap. I don't want to buy anymore than I have to.

Plastic totes from Lowe’s or Home Depot. They come in a lot of different sizes and have a lid.

Use a paste of baking soda and water to start with . Then vinegar

What about a thick, plastic tarp you probably have laying around? Put the sausage press on it and gather it up at the top, tie it off. They definitely hold water.

A soak in vinegar may be all that needed, and its cheap. I soak rusty traps in vinegar, some times they look beyond use. A few days soak and a power wash and they look like new.

I reclaimed an old rusty 4 wheeler gas tank with vinegar. Saved me tons of money

I use old plastic 20 or best still 25 litre oil drums laid on their side and I cut an opening to suit my application on the top side.
