Prayers for my little boy.

Help Support CattleToday:

Done. Hang in there. My three year old came down with terrible Pneumonia, and her lung was 60% full of fluid. They had to go in and suck out all of the fluid and infection, and she had a 1/2" drainage tube coming out of her chest for 3 days after. I know how you feel, believe me. The good news is, God answers prayer. She got out of the hospital after 4 days, and was back to normal in a couple of weeks. She is a healthy 7 yr old now, and Tough as a pine knot. We'll continue to pray for you all.

Thankful it is benign. Kash shows character; naming it tricky. That kind of personality is strong, it shows the ability to adapt to challenges in a positive way. Kash is a man to be proud of. You said his mother is strong, like they say, a chip off the block. I am with Kash, tricky has to go. All my best thoughts for you and yours.

Cindy I took this off your FB, hope you don't mind. It seemed to fit this situation:

One day a farmer's donkey fell down into a well. The animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do. Finally, he decided the animal was old, and the well needed to be covered up anyway; it just wasn't worth it to retrieve the donkey.

He invited all his neighbors to come over and help him. They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well. At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then, to everyone's amazement he quieted down.

A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well. He was astonished at what he saw. With each shovel of dirt that hit his back, the donkey was doing something amazing. He would shake it off and take a step up.

As the farmer's neighbors continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up. Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well and happily trotted off!

MORAL :
Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt. The trick to getting out of the well is to shake it off and take a step up. Each of our troubles is a steppingstone. We can get out of the deepest wells just by not stopping, never giving up! Shake it off and take a step up.

God bless you all, and watch over him...my son had surgery around that age he was scared before he went in... the best sight i seen was him being rolled back down afterward crying and licking a popsicle....

Thank you all so much; what an amazing group of people you all are. Headed to St. Louis this afternoon with surgery to begin tomorrow at 7:30. I will post an update as soon as I can.

So many good verses out there but I have read Isaiah 41:10 many times since this started:

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

It's always tougher on the parents. I was a never wreck last month when my daughter had her gall bladder removed, she's 50.

God bless your boy and your family. As dun said, it is hard on parents when we have our children go thru surgeries or injuries.
Just gotta be strong through it all.
