I was against us having to pay for this trip, but not for him coming....and this sort of thing is disgusting, can no one go in peace with these people.

I agree Chrisy. I did read about the gov't having to pay for the trip as it was considered a "diplomatic" trip rather than just a "regligious" trip which the Vatican would have paid for. Like the man, agree with the man or not he does represent over a billion Christians. But you're always going to have some who are always looking for that "pound of flesh" regardless of the price.
