Give the stand to the game warden, leave a note on where they can pick then up.

Sell day hunts out of those stands.

We take them down and leave in a pile, once. If they don't get the hint then the stand leaves.
Another good thing is take it down and take it with you. Leave a note with your name and phone number and that you found a stand and want to return it to its owner. Please call.

I think this might be what I would do
they probably never will call but if they did I would tell them that I'm being nice this time but don't let it happen again.
