pink spots

I have a 4 year old longhorn cow that is kinda mean but a good cow . I hav'nt had her very long so she is getting better, settleing down a bit. Which is why I say I can't get real close to her. I noticed a couple a days ago she had some pink splotches from just behind her head to front of her shoulders. She is white so they show up fairly well. Wondering could it be lice. If so what can I do?

SOunds like lice to me, especially this time of year. You could try to spray some de-lice liquid on her.

I had an old man tell me it could be mange(sp). That is only talking to him he didn't see her though.
