Thanks for putting those up. If I recall, you are in Clark County. Are you going to the Belles Of The Bluegrass Sale?

Craig, that is the most common pattern I see. I think the squares represent a patched quilt pattern.

Pretty common pattern around here too. The barn quilts are more common in far eastern and southern WI, but we still have plenty up our way too. If I remember correctly, a red square in the middle of the pattern denotes a farm that is welcome to and provides hospitality to travelers in days gone by.

Margonme you are correct. I haven't been to the Belles of the Bluegrass sales before, maybe will go sometime. I believe it is held at the Chenault Center in Montgomery County. I have been to several Angus, and a couple Hereford sales there.

If you go, it is coming up soon. I think 10/8. I plan to go. Yep. Mt. Sterling.
