Yes, very smart.
She has figured out how to open the doors to get outside, very convenient, that way I can sleep in and she lets herself out to go to the bathroom.
Also catches chickens,(and only if I tell her to) she has never hurt one, she just catches one and holds it down 'till somebody comes to pick it up. 8)
